Jumbaal Dreamin’ family dance & band group bring a power packed show with concert series of Corroborees and live music to Gumbaynggirr and neighbouring nations Bundjalung and Dunghutti. This will be an important cultural music and dance activation with traditional and contemporary elements to connect the community through culture and lift our spirit, heal the land and revitalize artistic/cultural practice.

We are now on to the last two shows of the tour and what a great tour it has been!  Good to see so many people dancing too 🙂

Each show will start in the afternoon and go past sunset with a great sound & light show with cultural dance groups and stories from the elders.  At each show Jumbaal Dreamin’ will perform a band show and a cultural show with other great local artists.  Come along for a great family day, get involved in culture by learning a dance or just grooving to the bands and having a feed with family.  It’s a collaborative thing Koori style so do get in touch if you want to participate!

South West Rocks show is now at Brighton Park on Saturday the 14th Oct and will feature the amazing Fig Tree Descendants, Jalay Jalay dance group, Big H and Manduway !

The Grand Finale is at Bowraville mission aka Memorial Park on Sun 15th and will feature the Giingan Yiiliwilay Giirwaa group, Peaceful Dance Mob and Bumajin and a host of local talent 🙂

It Kicked off on Saturday 16th September at Uruungga at the Riverstage
area where the Bellinger and Kalang Rivers meet with the sea.  Artists
featuring at this event were Gunganbu band the
Budaabang Bari dance troupe.

It was followed by a deadly show in Grafton, Sat 23rd Sept with Berinbah cultural group, Manduway and Andrew Hegedus & Mal Eastick

Then the tour went to Yarrawarra Cultural Centre on Sunday 24th Sept where there is a great sand dance ground and Jalay Jalay and Fig Tree Descendants dance troupes and Tareik Hart & Manduway shared their talent
